1958-2018
Gerry Boschwitz joined CCC in 2010, and for the next 8 years served 130 clients with not only expertise and savvy, but with uncommon warmth, kindness, and good cheer. In each conversation with his clients and colleagues, he made the other person feel like they were the center of the world, and that their needs were his only immediate concern.
Gerry brought three decades of sales, management, and operations experience to the CCC team. Gerry’s interest in the securities markets and his longtime association with owner Jim Tharin led him to CCC in the summer of 2010. Over time, he specialized in hedge fund and family office clients, and helped thousand of investors recover tens of millions of dollars in market losses.
In 1981 Gerry graduated from Carleton College with a degree in Political Science. For many years he was an executive at Home Valu Interiors, a Minnesota based remodeling company, eventually rising to the position of CEO. Through the years he attended numerous sales and management training programs from a variety of resources like Dale Carnegie, Predictive Index, YPO, and the Harvard Business School executive training programs.
Gerry is survived by his wife, Janet; sons, David, Benjamin and Michael; parents, Senator Rudy and Ellen; brothers, Ken, Dan (Jill), Tom; and thirteen nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed.
